Question: i talked to this girl didnt talk too much
okay so theres this girl who wears these jean shorts ...but she sits next to me and she places her legs towards my side more than the opposite side of me..but she switches..i think she wantws attention..but not too close but it seems like shes trying to show her legs off to me ..idk but there long and sexy i tried hard not to stare soo I didn't but I looked of course...I'm a guy...is it okay to play footsy with her and stare? asked this here to get a girls point of view!

Answers: I understand that you are a guy and that's what guys do, they look. Do you like this girl? It's obvious that she has a thing for you, but do you have one for her? If you don't then try to not look, or flirt with her. You don't want to make her think you're into her, girls get emotionally attached, yes, even with just flirting. I know, we're complicated. If trying to not look doesn't help then maybe you need to talk to her about it, either that or change your seat, if that's possible. Hope I helped!

Not a girl here, but I'd make the following observations:
- Staring isn't really the right answer no matter what. It isn't polite. Try talking to her. That will give you a better idea what is going on, and if she's interested in you and you're interested in her, you are much more likely to move things forward by talking rather than silently staring.
- Playing footsy. Eh. Let me just say that this would be a particularly embarrassing way to figure out if you are reading the situation wrong. If she is just uncomfortable in her chair, and shifting position, and you start rubbing your foot against hers, at best you'll be embarrassed. At worst she'll think you are some sort of freak. Good rule of thumb: if you aren't too sure how someone is feeling, touching them is usually not the best way to figure it out.

If she's shifting her legs she may just be shifting positions to be more comfortable. Besides what other indications do you have that she might be interested (apart from wearing shorts and placing her legs towards you)? So to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation you best talk to her, let her know you're interested and see what happens (hey it's better than looking like a creep).
