Question: people sort of make fun of mi. i dont know wat 2 do.
Answers: just cause ur smart dont make you a geek just get right bak at them be like atleast im smart or w.e you knoe if you dont like the way your wardrobe or attire is change it a bit you knoe like a lil more stylish and who cares what they call you and if they call you a geek just keep in mind it takes one to knoe one

so your smart and you get good grades? that's not a geek, that's smart. it's different if you have no friends and dress like one. my advice, (if you don't already), wear fashionable, or at least non-geeky clothes, and hang with your friends and get to talk to other people. keep the smarts though, don't reduce yourself to an idiot. i used to have the problem and figured out that i act normal, dress normal, and have normal friends, but i'm also smart. ;)

Don't let a label determine who you are. How ever you choose to live your life, do it with confidence. .. . I promise, when people see that you aren't thinking about them, geekiness will be in and you'll be respected.
Well just be who you are! Ignore the fools who feel the need to be Queen Bee and Miss Popular. It's not worth trying to have the nices't clothes and the best body. Just be yourself and real people will like you for who you are and they will be your true friends.

you are not a geek if you you don't believe so. just let the others think whatever the want. you should not bother cause in our whole life we'll be giving and taking criticism. but if you feel so, why not having a change for example a complete new look which you feel comfortable in it and you know how to support it or a new attidude but always not too far from your own unique personality!!!

Take the glasses off of your avatar and put on some sun shades!! Shop at Abercrombie and places that are extremely cool. Get your nails in a French Manicure and Buy A hair straightner. Loose a ton of weight ( only if your fat) and don't always try to be right.

I was considered a geek up until a while ago, when I guess they all woke up and realized that I would get a better job than them and be able to buy better things than them. And that is what made me happy with how I am now... just thinking about how things will work 10 or 15 years from now.
I guess if you wanted to make appearance changes, do them gradually. I mean, don't just suddenly appear with designer clothes and a cool hairstyle. People will think you're not being serious and they'll make fun of you more.
well u kno wat? just ignore them. one day u will be rich and/or famous and they will be taxi drivers, tell them THAT @ ur hi school reunion. maybe ur just over exagerratin. sometimes i feel like a nerd, and i just need my friends to reassure me that im not (however annoying i may b). if u ARE a geek 1)nice clothes 2)touch of makeup to enhance ur features 3)be nice and open 4)no bad habits-picking ur nose 5) dont CONSTANTLY raise ur hand in class, but enough so that u get an A 4 effort =)
i am sorta a nerd too. im self concious and constantly check myself in the mirror. sometimes i feel like the more popular ppl make fun of me and everyone is making fun of me. i try to forget them and not harp over it and focus on MY LIFe and being happy w/ my friends.
friends are one of the most important things in life. w/o them ull truely be a geek, even worse than that. but a few true friends overrule a bunch of snobby, shallow popular kids' opinions.

Think of the friends you have and the great life you're GOING to have later in the future. Usually, I get told, people make fun of other people because they're jealous and um, yeah, that's pretty much true, lmao. :) They'll probably pick on you because they have no confidence and themselves and think making fun of other people will make them better, even though it makes them look like a complete fool. :)
Depends on how old you are too, if you're in Elementary, that's life, kid. If you're in Middle school, that's just a transfer stage. Things get better later on, I swear. If you're in Highschool, it's probably all the stupid kids who cheat off other kids, are dumb as heck and spike money off their mommy's and daddy's. They have no life, so forget them!
Your best bet is to act like you don't care and ignore them. Give them that ...um? look and they'll stop and walk away. I've done it and it works. I'm not a geek, I'm not ugly but I get picked on, a lot of people do, even popular kids! You just need to stand up for yourself or ignore them. When they see you don't care, they'll leave you alone and find someone else.
If it's because of the way you dress or look then, eh. If you don't have that much money or something, Aeropostale has cute stuff that's not even that expensive and you'll look nicer. If you DO have money, Wet seal, American Eagle and Old Navy, possibly Hollister, are nice places to go to to boost your fashion sense.
For your face, try a little makeup. You don't have to go over-board with it. Apply a little bit of mascara to your upper lashes, a little bit of lipgloss and a bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks and you'll look gorgeous and clean. Have a little bit of acne or black spots under your eyes? Use a LIGHT foundation and a bit of concealer to hide it.
You don't really have to do any of what I said because they're still losers and you don't have to change yourself for people who probably won't go far in life.
