Question: do you smoke if you dont would you go out with some1 who did or would it put you off
Answers: im almost off them will be finished my book and cigs by friday for good

I only smoke when i'm really drunk. . . .which is just as bad as smoking full time but it wouldn't put me off dating someone.
This is a showstopper issue for me. I am a non-smoker and I don't want to date a smoker. Even if she didn't smoke around me, I don't like the smell of it on somebody's clothes.
it puts me off cos many people who smoke have to have limbs amputated when they are older as the blood isnt healthy enough to reach there.
I don't smoke and I have gone out with guys who do, but honestly it turns me off.
i gave up 4 years ago and now the smell makes me vomit. i would not go out with a smoker and i cant believe i never noticed i stank.

i no longer smoke, and as my boyfriend is a non-smoker (he used to, but hasn't since i met him) then i can't comment, but i do know he didn't like it when i smoked, he said my hair, clothes, and of course breath really stunk, and now that i don't, i HATE the smell of smoke, so i imagine it would put you off.

I do smoke but I imagine if I didn't then it would put me off. However I think if the guy/girl was perfect in every other way it wouldn't necessarily be a problem. The smoker can be considerate ie - not smoking around their partner, keeping their teeth clean etc, however i don't think a non smoker should go out with a smoker with the intention of making them give up - it won't happen.

I smoke, but I smoke outdoors and I always brush my teeth immediately after. I do everything in my power to make sure I do not smell of smoke, which is not always a possiblity.

It may put some people off, but if they really liked you, then would encourage you to give it up. My friend told her husband she would not marry him until he gave up smoking and he did.
