Tattoo help??
Question: If the person who did a tattoo on me, pushed the needle to dip into the skin will it be impossible to get it removed? Also if anyone has gotten a tattoo removed can you please share your story with me as in how much of it dissolved and how many treatments did it take etc?
I had my friend do a bunch of tattoos on me when I was younger cause my mom wouldnt let me get one and all my friends were getting them so I got a bunch done and I totally hate them.
They were done with india ink, and they were done with a homemade tattoo gun, plus just a regular needle, and they were done in black. How are my chances of getting them removed? Some of them are already fading. if I could I would just take a knife and cut them out I would but obviously that would look just as bad. My friend told me to take a toothbrush and rub the tattoo until its like an open wound and then pour salt in it, so I did it but it didnt do anything but hurt. So if anyone can give me some advice please? Thanks.
Answers: It won't be impossible to remove your tattoos but it may take more aggressive procedure with multiple sessions. The only way to know how is to go see a professional who specializes in tattoo removal. Depending on the depth of the ink and how badly the ink has migrated have alot to do with which method is used. Salt is used by professionals in a technique called salabrasion. This method basically peel away the pigmented skin and can take many sessions. The only downfall is that salabrasion can't be used for deep tissue ink. Dermabrasion is also used and is basically like salabrasion but uses a brush of sorts to scrub away the inked skin. Then there are chemical peels and lasers. One important thing to remember is if the ink has migrated to or been deposited into the subcutaneous fat cells then surgicl removal is the only way to completely get rid of the tattoo. Of course this will leave a scar. All methods can leave scars, and most all tattoo removals scar to some extent. As far as home remedies to remove a tattoo, this is something that really needs to be left to the pros, otherwise you could end up causing more damage that can't be fixed. On a positive note though black is one the easiest pigments to be removed, along with blue. Yellow and green are the hardest.
I havnt ever had one removed, but whatever you do, dont try to remove it yourself. I have a friend that did that, and now it looks worse than it did to begin with. That will only make it worse, and will make u regret it after you do it. So please dont try to remove it yourself. :)
I love all of my tattoos, and I would never get any of them removed- but here's the skinny, lol. Whatever you do, do NOT waste your money of those things that are chemicals that claim they can remove tattoos- it will not work. Go to a doctor. It's typically 25 dollars per square inch that you want removed- but of course that really depends on the doctor, but that is the average. It usually takes 2 to 3 sessions, so I mean..unless the tattoos are ginormous, it's not too expensive. But I hope this helps, and I wish you luck!
You can probably still get it removed, it might take more then one session though. Your best bet is to ask a dermatologist because she can tell you what will work in your particular case.
Also, you are an idiot and so is your friend, why would you listen to such stupid advice obviously told to cause you pain. I'm sure he was very amused that you did it.
no wonder people with tattoos get such bad press on here. salt? toothbrush? go and seek proffessional advice-then go get ur tattoos removed by a qualified consultant!
