After crossing your legs do you get a warm red spot on your calf and knee??
Question: cause i always do, and get asked about it, and dont know how to answer to it?
Answers: Say that It's due to too much pressure and for too long from when I cross my legs . The warm blood pools in this area since there is no room for it to circulate well. If you were to continue to keep your legs crossed and there was no release of pressure to this same area, your skin would eventually breakdown due to loss of oxygenated, fresh blood, and you'd develop a skin ulcer, a decubitus ulcer, to be exact. That's why patients in the hospital who are unable to move well on their own, have to be turned or repositioned every couple hours or less.
yes. just say you were crossing ur legs.. its the same thing as if u were wearing shorts... you would get red spots on the back of ur thighs. its nothing wierd=]
its just where the heat from you one leg meets the other, making blood cells or sumthin gang up there! ^_^
(actually, im not sure... sorries)

yea that alawys happenes to me too
hmm maybbe all the blood is going there lol idk
Of course! But you should try not to cross your legs; it's bad for circulation and could lead to varicose veins.
yes it is putting pressure on the point of contact, so it does.
yeah I always get that and then I'm embarrassed because I never know what to say when people ask me either and I'm walking around with a big red spot on my leg
Yes!! that always happens to me!
No, it feels like I broke a nut. I talking like hurting!!!
well, every time i cross my legs, i always end up with a red spot from where the other leg was laying on.
yes I do. I have really sensitive skin. I get a red mark on my body if the wind blows on it! (not really)
Uhh duhh. Thats just what happens.
It just if you jump in to a pool of water... you get wet. Its whats happens.
If someone ask just say what happened.
I had my legs crossed and it left marks...
Yes. Just tell them that your capillaries near your skin's surface were compressed from your crossing your legs.
yah..i do.. i just laugh about it and say.. haha..that always happens..i just have delicate legs i guess ...don't even worry about it.
Circulation is cut off from the pressure of your legs crossing and your blood pools. It should go away within a few minutes of standing up.
that happens to everyone, duh
youre sitting with your legs crossed therefore one leg pressed against the other so it makes a spot, then it goes away a little after you stopped sitting that way.
whoever is asking you about it is dumb, no offense but really
I don't think they are anything to worry about. However, if I were you I would cross my legs at the ankle, not the knee. I've heard that this can possibly lead to vein problems in the legs. (spider, varicose)
ya everyone does it is just your blood circulation getting cut off nothing to worry about just don't do it OK?
Yes. I get that. If I am asked, I tell the questioner that my legs were crossed.
yes al the time it's just presure from your knee and it will go away after you take your knee off .......
Yup that happens to me too!
