Is it better to apply lotion when your skin is still damp or dried off????
Question: after a shower...??
Answers: Great question!
Actually you apply the toner while your skin is still moist, it absorbs deeper then, and closes the pours.
I recommend Spritz with fragrance while still moist, then air dry or pat dry then moisturize with a SPF 15 or better lotion everyday, not just summer.
Inthe summer time, AM showers are best to be luke warm.
PM showers are warm/hot with a Scrub and moisturize to allow the skin to heal while you are asleep.
Summertime exposure is hard on your skin, the sun, sweat and chaffing of the heated flesh and fabric.
So be sweet to your skin.
right after showering. towell dry and apply. it locks in the moisture better.
after u shower and dry ur self apply ur lotion
still damp it's supposed to lock in moisture better, and the sooner you put in one the better I think I read within the first 3 min. out of the shower ... I keep lotion in the bathroom just so I can do this!!!
while damp
Definitely damp right after your shower or bath.
not soaking wet, but damp for sure it helps lock in moisture.
when your skin is dry because the lotion will lock in the moisture and your skin wont be ashy in a short period of time
damp
Still damp. Your skin absorbs it better. I use baby oil after lightly towel drying. Then I have to wait a few minutes before dressing, but my skins stays so soft.
