Shoulder surgery??


Question: have broad shoulders. is there a type of orthapedic surgery that could narrow them so they are more aligned with my hips?

Answers: First, are you a man or a woman ? Second, I have had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders . It was extremely painfull ! Also I was infected with MRSA ( methicillian resistant staphalacoccus areus ) on the last surgery and that really complicated things and I dont think I will ever be the same. Only do it if its very important
Jane, it has more to do with your collarbones more than your shoulders. To reduce girth, they would have to remove muscle, then shorten the collarbone. Sounds quite evasive, but you might want to check with an Orthopaedic surgeon to find out the actual problems.
