Im 14 and my skin isnt very clear. i kind of have sensitive skin, what should i use??
Answers: Healthy skin is more beautiful than fair skin. Follow these steps to create a healthy glow.
Steps
1. Avoid exposing your skin to direct sunlight.
2. Use any good sun block lotion while going out.
3. Drink plenty of clean water regularly.
4. Watch your diet. Include healthy fruits and vegetables.
5. Wash your face to keep it clean.
6. Use some good skin whitening cream.
Tips
* Cut a lemon into 2 halves. Rub it gently on your face and neck. Wash it after 10-20 minutes. Doing it regularly will cleanse your skin.
* Using masks made from flour, or finely ground grams [pulses], can make your skin fine. Just add some milk, apply on skin and wash after 15 minutes.
* Milk is a natural skin whitener. Apply milk on your face. Wash it after some time.
Warnings
* While using any cosmetic product, if you feel irritation in skin, stop using it. Always prefer good skin products.
* Do not use products containing hydroquonine. It has long-term health effects.
Hope it helps.Good Luck!!

If you have sensitive skin, wait to use anything and go to a dermatologist. They are able to help you especially if it's really sensitive. For now though, just make sure your skin is clean. Wash your face with warm water and use a mild soap, like Dove, then pat your face dry. Do this 2 or 3 times a day until you can see a derm. If you aren't worried about your skin breaking out or getting a rash, make sure you're using something with benzoyl peroxide, which is one of the ingredients used in a lot of products to treat acne.
Also, you could try proactiv. But it's a little pricey, and for some people it doesn't work very well. And you have to use it consistently - if you skip a day or too, your skin will become really red and you'll break out again.
liquid soap
I also have very sensitive skin and all the over the counter stuff either didn't work or were too harsh. Proactiv is the answer. It's a little pricy but totally worth it. You need to give it 4 to 8 weeks sometimes to really see the difference and you may think that it's making your skin worse in the beginning. Don't be discouraged!!! Stick with it and keep using it everyday. If you start using it only periodically them your skin will throw a revolt. Try it!! I've never ordered anything from an infomercial as I generally think that the products won't work. However, a co-worker was using it and then I got it. Best thing I've ever bought.
Be very careful with proactive. Very Very Careful! I have sensitive skin and everyone raved about Proactive so I went for it. It's a three step program and they also give you a free face mask creme. The ingredients all together were way to much for my skin to handle and it actually burnt my skin and I had a bad rash for a few days. I swore it off forever but I spent money on it, so I waited a few weeks and tried again. My second attempt was much better. Instead of using the toner and everything else, I just used the face wash and it worked like a charm. Good Luck! (Stop drinking so much soda! I promise you that will help too)
Cetaphil face wash or soap bar is great for sensitive skin. It is so gentle, and makes it soft smooth and even- which is good but I'm not sure how well it works for clearing up acne prone skin. Pretty cheap, about $3 for a bar of the soap of $6 for the bottle of cleanser.
Acne Free- the store/generic version of Proactive that you see on TV is really good for acne prone skin. It's a system of a cleanser, toner and lotion that you use once or twice a day. It's a lot harder on skin (ie it dries it out). Takes a little more effor but clears up acne pretty well. Costs about $17 at Walmart or Target.
Good Luck
Start by washing your face to get all the dirt and makeup off. Then, use the Stridex Powerpads or some other mild cleanser. If you do use the Stridex, start by using it only once and then gradually increase the amount of times you use it a day. If not, it can irritate your skin. After that, use a mild toner and finish with a moisturizer. I'm 14 as well and have that same problem. It works really well for me. If you're looking for makeup to cover up the problem spots on your skin I highly recommend i.d. BareMinerals. It has great coverage and does not irritate skin. As a matter of fact, some studies show that it can improve the condition of your skin after two weeks of regular use. I won't leave the house without it. Good luck! I hope I helped.
Find a mild soap such as Aveeno or Basis and match to your skin type. Use warm water and change your washcloth daily as it can carry a lot of bacteria. Avoid harsh scrubbing . It can cause your skin to irritate and produce extra oil. If you can see a dermatologist . Also calamine lotion can sooth irritated skin as well as halt a breakout.
Good luck
swith to dove or use a clean and clear or proactive
