I burn :[ i wanna tan..??
Question: when i go abroad i tan, but when i stay in the uk i always burn.
its not a really bad burn & it doesn;t hurt much, but i go really red.
i want to tan & go a browner colour.
i dont want to use fake tans, anyone got any ideas like lotions or anything ?

Answers: You have to do it slowly, the problem it that in the Uk you don't get much sun and when you do it's very direct for a few hours. My advise is to spend 30 mins at a time in the sun and build up. Thalgo have natural tablet that strengthen and support the skin during the summer to help then skin tan. (www.thalgo.com) Also I have used a factor 15 oil instead of cream and this works better, just make sure you keep re-applying. After always put on a good aftersun cream to rehydrate the skin and drink plenty of water!
have u tried using a sun bed, although this can bring on skin cancer and premature wrinkles if not used properly
no idea but your skin burn because the temperature is hot but it is not humid ,thus no indication that you feel uncomfortable and would not avoid these harmful rays since humidity causes one to sweat.
After you tan in a bed for a little while you will see the difference. The main thing is you get the little bit oof a tan in the bed and then you can go out side to the tan and get darker. This will help you get tanner a little easier. Also one thing that you can do is to get a lotion that is called GLOW. It has a little bit of sun-less tanner in it that doesn't make you blotchy and you can use that to help as well. Do use that to go to the tanning bed. Use a lotion that you can buy at the bed place. Oils mess up the bed.
do you use a tanning bed? if you do then stay in there like 3 minutes to start off with then work your way up but if not get jergens natural glow lotion and it makes you look tanner and does not turn you orange.. fake tans turn you orangeb
You gotta use the tanning bed frequently, 2-3 times a week. One time isn't gonna do anything. its a process. Use tanning lotion they sell there to help tan your skin.
