Oops....help me out plz...??
Question: ok,call me stupid..but i made a mistake with my hair down there . i cut some of it with scissors and i guess that made it rough so now it REALLY hurts and pokes..i tried to wax but that made it more red & i saw some red/bloody mark..so what should i do??
Answers: You will need to let it grow out
Next time try timming it not quit so close
Wax just drew the blood up to the surface, it will be alright
This may sound crazy, but it works
Rinse and then put Creme Hair Conditioner on the stuble to soften it a little
Get Sunburn gel -- the kind that has aloe & lidocaine
It will burn a little when you put it on & then the itch will be less itchy
Be careful when you apply this... only on the part with the hair, or that you removed hair from...
E-mail me if you need to...... I don't know what else to suggest
When I was in my 20s I tried that as well & had a terrible time with the itchiness & the stuble hair poking me --- After that I ditched the whole shaving thing and will simply trim it back for summer....
and NO YOUR NOT STUPID
Some gals prefer to be shaved.... and it isn't a bad thing to try it out....... so please don't beat yourself up over it :)
trying shaving
if that doesn't work u just going to have to wait till it grows
sorry
i know it must suck
sorry you're gonna either have to shave (and keep it up every few days and deal with terrible itching) or just deal with the way things are now and let it grow out.
you should try going to a professional, like to some kind of beauty parlor (such as a tanning salon) if it gets really difficult for you to handle in the future.. im sure they can help you better with it. i know you're thinking, '..why would i show it off to someone..' but you're really not showing it off, you're trying to get help. some people acutally go. or let it grow out like other responders said & becareful next time. gl.
best i can suggest is find a soothing gel in the section of your beauty store/ anywhere that sells wax. MAKE SURE it can be used on broken skin. next you are gonna have to wait for it to all grow back. and yes you will have ingrown hairs but you've just gonna have to live with it. some soothing gels are also used to reduce the number of ingrown hairs. after that, you need to decide if a) you are gonna trim b) shave (which needs to be done every few days and invest in a ingrown hair formula) or c) wax, now you can either wax yourself or get it done proffesionally however if you choose to do it at home there is different wax for down there then for you legs as it is more sensitive so make sure you buy the right one. good luck and i hope you end up ok. Also the blood probably came from some of the deeper hairs not by ripping off skin so you will be fine although it will scab up sometimes
Use hair conditioner, it will soften up. Next time, don't use scissors, use a razor just to.... skim off to make it shorter , dont shave...that is the biggest nightmare. If you can handle the pain in waxing it is best.....not of me!! Good luck.
As for the waxing, if the hair root or bulb is larger than the shaft opening, when the hair is removed, it can cause some bleeding. Also, with waxing & down south privates, you have to be really careful because you can remove skin which would cause you to bleed too. I would probably suck it up & deal with it.
