Is it normal to bleed overnight when you have your tongue pierced??

Question: i got my tongue pierced 3 days ago and every morning when i wake up, i have 2 huge blood clot like things on the top of my tongue and the bottom where the balls are. I never read anything about this and my piercer never said anything about it. Is it normal??!! :-/

i have mine done 6 years now and ive never had this or a few friends have'nt i would go to get it seen to it does not sound to good and its not normal i dont think.never heard of this before.xx

Its quite normal because you in your sleep are moving your tongue around and causing the bleeding ~~

It's depending when you got it pierced. If it's fairly new yes its fine just use alot of mouth wash especially if you smoke.

I have never heard of anyone bleeding from their tongue piercing it may have been too close to a vien or artery and that might be causeing the bleeding... but if its not excessively painfull or overly swolen it might be that your ruff with it in your sleep so I would still seek some professional oppinion about it but if its not really painfull i should heal well

It's not normal after 3 days (but it's not something to freak out about either!). You may have a small tear in the piercing. Go back to your piercer to have it checked out.
