How can i look less of asian?!??
Question: hey there! i need help. i am almost half asian with some spanish. my other half is caucasian. i hate it when people tease me about my asian side. even my boyfriend who is white, jokes around to bother me. i get really insecure about how i look. i guess it's because my eyes look a little asian. how can i make my eyes look less asian? i'm thinking maybe some kind of make up techniques to make my eyes look bigger?
Answers: I think asian people look pretty and exotic...Be comfortable with who you are and if people make fun of you they have problems and are probably insecure themselves. Asians have an exotic look and most normal people think that is a unique and beautiful and if your boyfriend is thinking teasing you like that is funny ..... well I would tell him to lay off or else I'd drop him.

I know you're not looking for an answer like this, but I don't think you should try to look less Asian. Be proud of who you are. I'm (South) Asian and I'm proud of my background and who I am. Plus, most people think Asian people are exotic and really pretty.
omg! dont listen to people, everyone is insecure about something in their appearances. So many people would kill for that look of asian eyes! You can try to make them look more attractive by outlining them and making them stand out with liquid eye liner! but just know that there is no way to make you look less of what you are. Be happy with what you've got.
Why would you want to change the natural shape of your eyes? I think asian eyes are just as beautiful an any other ethnicity. You should play up your natural look, being confident will convince others of your beauty. Dump the crude boyfriend you deserve better than to be treated like that by someone who should care for you.
Get colored contacts like hazel or green or blue and use lighter eyeshadows like sheer pinks and when wearing eyeliner only go half way from the corner to create a more open eye effect.

The eyes evolved that way to help keep sand out of them when the ancient asian predecessors migrated through the Gobi. It also helps with snowfields, when the sun reflects off all the white. You should be proud of the strengths and beauty of asian eyes. :)

I've always admired asian girls facial features, especially the eyes. that's not right. you should not be made fun of because you have a little asian in you. when you say your eyes look a little sain, do you mean they are almond shaped? a lot of women would kill for that shape of eye.
if you want to make your eyes look bigger, you apply a light eyeshadow on the whole lid. then on the crease, you use a darker color. put an irredescent white color on the inside ends and just under the eyebrow. this should open up your eyes. try to stay away from doing your eyeliner with a little 'tail' because this will elongate your eyes and make them more asian looking.

Apply dark eyeliner to the top lid only to avoid a raccoon effect. Don't take the line any farther than your lash line to avoid the cat eye effect.
Stick with light colored eye shadows or use a highlighter on your brow bone if you wear dark eye shadows.
Curl your lashes before applying lengthening mascara.
Line the inside of your lower lid w/ a white liner to make your eyes look larger.
BTW, most of the other members are correct. If you want to play up your eyes or make them look larger for yourself that's okay. If you're doing it because people tease you & you feel ashamed, that's not okay. I hope you make peace with your heritage because there's nothing you can do to change it.

there's a Korean trick you can use for more eyelid layers. It's to tape the top lid of your eye with scotch tape. When you open your eyes, a double layer should appear. Put dark eyeliner and shadow to cover the tape.
But remember, this isn't looking less Asian, b/c only 1/2 of Asians have no double eyelid; this is looking like a different kind of Asian.
