Question: I've searched endlessly for intermediate/advanced makeup artistry courses in Connecticut but have come up with nothing. Are there any New England makeup artists who would be willing to mentor me (and how may I get in touch with you... esp. if you are from Connecticut)? I recently became a certified esthetician and have had many hours of makeup practice on students. I've discovered that makeup artistry is really my calling and been told that I have talent. The students were all happy w/ what I was able to do. But I really would like to get some advanced training. I cannot afford to pay big $$$ to a school in New York or any other city for that matter ... and whose to say there will be a job for me when I'm done shelling out that kind of money? So, I'm seeking opportunities to meet and/or assist some willing makeup artists in CT, NY, MA, RI ... and would like to know how I might get in touch with you if you have the time to discuss this further.
