Extreme eye shadow??

Question: My niece is going to be a fairy for halloween and I wanted to do her eye makeup really extreme, maybe what they consider to be high fashion. I want to use pink or purple eyeshadow and not just put it on the lid but all across, I've seen it on ANTM before but can't remember which season or who it was on. Anyway, what I want to know how do you do it correctly and make it stay on the entire time?
Answers: i would use color cream shadows...maybelline sells one that is pink purple blue and white for about 5 dollars...and then id get some matching brightly colored shimmers..
the cream under the shimmers will help it pop and keep it on all day..you can also get fairy makeup halloween kits..you pretty much can do anything you want and extreme..can mean anything..from stick on rhinestones..just..edgy bright colors..

but just for a basic idea...i would line the whole eye..in a bright color of eye liner..and dont do it thin..pretty thick..and when lining the top..flick the liner up so it can either go at a point or curlys or on her forehead..which ever

and then..using your fingers apply the shadows/glimmers...making sure that they too go to with the flick that you did..
you should use pink all accross the eye lid and use white sparkly shadow all the way up to her eye brow.. it would also be really cute if you got little stick on diamonds to put around her eyes and on her face... i don't know about it staying on the entire time but it should stay as long as she doesn't touch it
I am not sure exactly HOW you want to do it, but I can help with a few other parts of your question. I would stay away from just pink it tends to make your eyes look bloodshot and sick. Purple would be really pretty with pink accents! To get the makeup to stay use a good base on her eyelids, they sell them separate or you can use something thick like vasaline! Good luck!
The key is a good high pigmented makeup.
Invest in either some MAC or Urban Decay, those are my favorites.

I believe MAC even has some pretty cool halloween techiniques on their site. I'll send you some links
I would suggest colors by Makeup Forever or Urban Decay. They are very vibrant and highly pigmented.

For the staying power, I suggest priming the eyes with Urban Decays Eyeshadow Primer Potion before hand. I work anywhere from 4-9 hours a day and my eye make-up stays put without creasing or fading the entire time because of this product.
Are you talking about the bar they did across Adrianne Currys eyes in cycle 1?
