Is there a Hair Salon(or INDIVIDUAL) whom Braids SINGLES w/hair extentions for a child w/mixed textured hair???
Question: Preferrably below 100dollars!!? She has ALOT of thick,waved hair!! and wants them to lay down against her head. Please, someone...HELP!! lookin i found it to be 500.00dollars & up! Thats just rediculous! And i really dont want to disapiont her AGAIN!
Answers: You didn't state where you live but if your looking for a shop that braids, I would stop and ask a person with braids where they got it done. That is truely the best way. However, to sites www.blackrefer.com and Essence Magazine www.essence.com provide a list of black salons by state.
And also based on your description it sounds as if your daughter wants cornrows, not individual braids. So if your calling around for prices make sure you ask for the prices of cornrows. And I also don't know the age of your daughter but if she is under 10 you should be charged for the styling of a child which is cheaper, most salons have two prices one for kids, and one for adults. Kids cornrows should cost $35-$65, Adults $60-$120.
