African american hair??

Question: ok so this question can go to anyone and everyone? I am a black woman and I have I guess long hair (middle of my back). I wear down, up, etc...... I work with a mix of people and all the time I get who does your weave? or your weave is very nice Seriously is that what a lot of people really think? I am amazed. I do not perm my hair, and yes all black people do not have the same hair. So I guess another question I have is black hair interesting to look at? Seriously what is it? I thought hair is hair. Oh yeah and another comment I hear. I did not think black people's hair can grow that long WOW!!!!
Answers: Okay, well, i wouldnt know.. But, your hair's what makes you unique. I think black people have a really neat sense of style and im sure whatever hairstyle you got, its great. Another thing, not many people can achieve having hair that looks like a weave, so.. That's great! Anyway, people find it nice dont they. :D
strange comments
Educate them!! Serious I would not be offended if I asked a question and I was totally wrong.
That's funny...I notice when people in general have beautiful hair...I can't ever tell if some one is wearing a weave or not.White people don't all have the same hair either.
my hair is dark ,thick and coarse..my daughter's hair is red thin and curly.
It sounds as if some one might be jealous of your hair and maybe playing it off by saying those things...I would just say...o,thank you
I get this same reaction all the time. People come up to me all the time at work or during class to ask if they can touch my hair, who does it and if it is real. It is strange to me because like you I just thought hair is hair and everyones is different. And yes black peoples hair can grow that long because mine was that long before I cut it last year.
people ask questions when their uneducated about something so maybe thats why??
I don't know but i kind of get the same question all the time too. Alot of people always ask me when i wear my hair in an afro if its a wig. I just learned to take it as something of a compliment
What B******* everyone shouldn't say 'compliments' l;ike that. I find it very racist, and im white!!!!!
