Well, in my opinion, it's a big size COMPARED to me. I'm a size 7. It doesn't matter if you are 6'0'' and have a shoe size of 6. You shouldn't be worried because everyone is unique. That's what makes us so special.

In Asia, it is big! I'm 5'9 1/2 (176 cm), wear 9B women shoes and I hardly can find a good pair of shoes in Hong Kong. Especially for sport shoes / sneakers, I have to wear men's! However, when I shopped in Europe (especially for off season on sale items) size 9 or 40 were sold out all the time. I guess 9 is comment in western countries.
