Do you think Abercrombie & Fitch makes their clothes too small? Read on...??
Question: Ok, all I have to say is why do some of you people hate, dis-like, Abercrombie for making their clothes a LITTLE smaller than the other guys.
Ok, then we should get mad at those stores for selling clothes that are BIGGER than most stores(Hip-Hop stores, Lane Bryant, ect)
But has anyone done that?
So if your gonna talk about, hate, Abercrombie, think about all of the other stores who are specializing in other sizes also!!!
Answers: i think they make the shoulder width and waist small for people who are bigger (not fat, but people with bigger ribcages)
i think they actually have a large selection made for slightly larger people
Yeah, I think so, I have to always get one size up. I still shop there, but only if their stuff is on sale.
Yes they seriously make their clothing small ..I think its for modeling type people just like hollister co. they are the same way !
I think A&F clothes capitalize on reducing the space your body can fit in their garments for maximum genital squeezure (or exposure). By making their clothes smaller, they thereby increase the sexification of the wearer, making said wearer more genitally attractified.
i have a very slim build. Kind of a model build, but believe me, im no model. its really hard for me too find clothes that fit, and thiers always fit me perfectly. So, yeah, people can either buy a bigger size or shop elsewhere, cause people like me need clothes too !
wow Krygag- just like Hollister Co. ??? well duuuh, they're owned by A&F!! but i dont think they make their clothes too small...their shorts are a little short but (not being mean!) if you cant pull it off dont buy them =] (i love short shorts)!!!

okay so I'm a model I'm 5'8 100lbs. right, I wear size 0-1 occ.2. I know I'm very thin, but have a toned and nice body whatev. However abercrombie like makes me feel soo much fatter than I am because I wear like a freaking size 5 ok 5 sizes larger than normal in any other store and I think that is not good me having to fit into a certain image and doing so with out having an eating disorder but I feel like I need to loose weight when ever I shop there because I like flip out and think OMG I'm going to get in soo much trouble with my agents because I'm in like between plus size modeling and normal and that's not good. and towards the other stores I HATE!!! clothes that don't fit I don't know why people even by them!
i think they make them smaller just cuz thats their style for having tighter clothes, not baggy.
Well the hip-hop stores are a whole different style aesthetic than A&F or Hollister. Lane Bryant and Torrid specialize in plus-size clothing, which is different. It is about fitting everybody, and I am by no means plus size but all of the cute tops in Abercrombie look vulgar with my 36D's unless I was to wear a basic tank underneath it.
And I don't want to offend anyone by saying this, but if you dis on stores such as Abercrombie for making their clothes too small, then you need to learn about personal style-which cannot be bought in a store.
I think that Abercrombie and Fitch actually inflate their sizes to make those who are bigger feel like they are skinnier and would more likely buy their products. Two years ago, I was a size 0R there and now I am a 00S And i can still fit into both perfectly. The only thing that some people don't like about Abercrombie is that they don't make XL for some of their products such as their sweatshirts. I actually work there but their sizes have definitely gotten bigger over the years. The only reason people think that Abercrombie caters to smaller sized women is due to their ads which depicts the perfect body for both men and women which are smaller sized women. But I agree with you. People should not badmouth Abercrombie when other stores are doing the same for other sizes.
