Large lady seeking great pair of jeans??

Question: You have no idea how hard it is to find jeans that fit me! So far, the only luck I've had has been with the Gaps' Long and Lean jeans. Those are expensive and they don't hold up as long as they ought to. I am a bigger girl (anywhere from size 16 to 20) and have very little (if any) butt. My problem is that if i buy jeans, they either look like mom jeans, or the butt is so big that they look like i pooped my jeans. For this reason i don't want elastic jeans because they are not typically tight enough to hug what little curves I have. If you are a bigger girl who has had this probelm, where do you find your jeans at? What stores do you prefer?

I do not mind paying more for these jeans, i just need for them to fit.
Lane Bryant is not an option, once again, the butt is too big.
Answers: have you tried getting your jeans altered or tailored? if the jeans fit great everywhere else but the butt, they can take in the butt and make it fit you.

I like Old Navy......you will probably have to try on a few different types, but you can usually find one that fits and flatters. It just takes time and it can get frustrating. You will also save some money going there, they are cheaper then most stores and the jeans are pretty good quality. Good luck!
I'm 4'11 and 100 pounds so I'm not too too big, but I know I saw a lot of big sized jeans in Old Navy. Old Navy and Gap (which are both owned together with banana republic) both have bigger sized jeans. Otherwise try a large department store like Nordstroms or Lord & Taylor.
i would try like angels or something like that...
Have you tried Fashion Bug? Go to fashionbug.com to check them out and see if they have a store near you. They are a sister store of Lane Bryant, but trust me they are completely different!!!
Tall Clothing Mall is a great resource for tall jeans.
