Flip flops or thongs? have your pick??
Question: which do you use or prefere. i think flip-flops is slight lame. but then dont say thong to someone who usually does say flip-flops, it can be confusing. what do you call them?
Answers: Depends where you're from and what they were called as you were growing up... I'm in Sydney, and no-one i know calls them 'flipflops', we call them thongs. And for one reason or another, the underwear thong is typically referred to/ marketed as a 'g-string' here
I used to call them thongs... until my mom came home one day and I was on the phone and she yelled, Honey, I bought some thongs, come try them on for me and yeah, that was a fun one to explain to my friend. I've called them flip flops ever since.

Hi, i agreed with the others that flip-flops is the silpper and thong is the underwear that you wear it for non VPL... Maybe you can associate g-string or thong instead!! LoL.... All the best! =)
